Travel Like A Boss

WOW!  I’m not the only one that brings their diffuser on trips!  I run a little motel in southern RI called The Anchor Motel and we just noticed that customers are starting to bring their diffusers with them to help them relax on vacation!

Diffusing in a hotel room or camper or boat cabin or tent ..whatever your travel preference maybe…personally I can’t stand tents..i know you’re thinking “You are a essential oil diffusing hippy, how could you not love getting back to nature in a tent??  But sleeping on the ground with the insects chewing my blood all night just isn’t as appealing as it used to be when I was a kid…  Anyways, where was I???  Oh yes, diffusing while you travel is a great idea!  It can help you relax and help you sleep like you are at home or BETTER.

Last mini vacation we went on, we slept in my in-laws RV (now that’s camping! ;)) and I brought Lavender & cedarwood essential oils for night time and some citrus oils to wake me up in the morning.  There’s nothing like waking up to the sun in your face, a working Keurig by your bed and the smell of lemon and tangerine diffusing through the room.  Ahh. The life.  If only I hadn’t also woken up with my daughters foot in my rib cage every morning….

Oh and I also bring Thieves essential oil too because the second someone sounds snifflier than usual, I have that baby pulsating through the room to boost everyone’s immune system.  No need for us all to go down like dominos while on vacation!!

So diffusing on vacation = better sleep, better mood, and no sicklys…sure that’s a word… just ask my mom.  Before I turned my family into a bunch of oily hippies, my kids got colds a lot so when I would ask her to babysit she would say something along the lines of, “Sure. But no sicklies” Meaning she only wanted them when they weren’t going to bring over any germs I guess LOL.  Bet she doesn’t miss that.

So that’s how you vaca the right way.  Glad to see people are starting to catch on ;). Happy travels!!

Christine
